Liz Truss must go

Ex-PM Liz Truss is set to appear on a far-right, conspiratorial platform called Lotus Eaters today (29th May).

Lotus Eaters was set up by misogynistic influencer Carl Benjamin and it has promoted the Great Replacement Theory and claimed the World Economic Forum is trying to control society.

Tell the Conservative Party Chairman that must be no room for the far right and that Truss must go.

Dear Richard Holden MP,

Conservative MP and former Prime Minister Liz Truss is set to appear on far-right, conspiratorial platform Lotus Eaters tomorrow.

Set up by misogynistic influencer Carl Benjamin, the media network has promoted the Great Replacement Theory and claimed World Economic Forum is trying to control society.

This isn't the first time Liz Truss has flirted with the far right. She cosied up with the notorious Steve Bannon at the right-wing populist Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) where she claimed an Islamist party would be elected in Rochdale and listened on as Bannon called Tommy Robinson a hero.

It is completely irresponsible for any MP or candidate to share a platform with Lotus Eaters and their band of conspiracy theorists and far-right activists.

I urge you to immediately remove the whip from Liz Truss, expel her from the Conservative Party and find a new candidate for South West Norfolk with immediate effect.

There can be no room for supporting the far right.
