Tom Hunt's extreme views

Hunt claimed that people speaking English in the Ipswich town centre is “almost a rarity”. But 88% of residents in Ipswich speak English as their main language.

Hunt has also said that there is a ‘possibility that a disproportionate number of crimes are committed by individuals from certain communities.’

Hunt signed a letter accusing the National Trust of being “coloured by cultural Marxist dogma, colloquially known as the woke agenda”. Cultural Marxism is a far-right and antisemitic term.

He also called the Black Lives Matter movement “cultural Marxism”.
